There are many video games with vampire themes but no game is more well known that Castlevania. This series revolves around the Belmont family of vampire hunters, and Dracula whom continually is resurrected and who the Belmont’s must continually destroy. There are many different vampire killing weapons, the most iconic to the series is the whip “vampire killer” which is recurrent throughout the series. Dracula is resurrected in each game, and a member of the Belmont family must enter his castle, destroy his underlings–usually supernatural creatures– from ghosts, minotaurs, Medusa heads, gargoyles, succubus’ and more. The following is a video compilation of most of the Castlevania games, starting from the first which was created in 1986 released on the Nintendo Entertainment System.
Another, more recent title is Infamous 2: Festival of Blood. This game revolves around Cole MacGrath. He is tricked, captured, and fed to Bloody Mary, a vampire who then forms a psychic bond with him, and has turned him into a vampire. The following is a trailer for it.
